Visited Ocean Basket and unfortunately the experience didn't match the price point. I ordered three dishes: the octopus, the Mediterranean rice with salmon, and the fritto misto. The octopus was dry and served with barely a spoonful of mash. The Mediterranean rice with salmon was equally underwhelming — very little salmon, dry texture, and it didn't taste fresh at all. Really enjoyed our meal here! The salmon salad was delicious, the mussels in sauce were excellent, and all the other food we tried was very good. Definitely worth a visit!

We arrived late lunchtime , it was quiet which was expected at this time of the year. The prices are very reasonable however we did find you get what you pay for when we ate. The gentlemen who served us, did not like us ordering the Maltese wine, and upset we didn’t want the South African selection, stating he’d have to check if they had any, constantly pushing us to change our minds on the wine....
This place keeps the same great quality as the other spots I’ve visited previously. If you’re looking for fresh seafood and a lovely sea view this is it. As always, everything was just excellent: food, service, and overall atmosphere. Highly recommend.
