We wanted to book a table at Minoa for Valentine’s Day, but a few days in advance the restaurant was already fully booked. So we reserved a table for February 13th instead. When making the reservation, we mentioned that we would like to sit with a sea view but at the same time in a quiet, calm area. When we arrived, we were offered two tables to choose from — one with a sea view and another in a quieter section of the restaurant. This attention to our request was very pleasant. We chose the table in the quieter area. The first and most important thing we felt in this restaurant was the service. The sincere smiles and the eyes of the waiters — you could see care and a genuine desire for guests to feel comfortable. That evening only a few tables were occupied, so the atmosphere was calm, which suited us perfectly. As for the food, the dishes were presented beautifully and elegantly. After we placed our order, we were served complimentary appetizers from the restaurant, which was a nice touch. Then our main courses were brought. I would not say that the food was extraordinary, but it was tasty and well prepared. After dinner, we were also served three different small chocolates as a dessert gesture. It was a pity that we could not order the chef’s tasting menu for one person, as it is only available for two people. Therefore, we ordered individual dishes from the menu. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, especially because of the attentive and warm service

Located on the 11th floor of the ODYCY Hotel in Qawra, this restaurant wants to display fine dining. Unfortunately we found it to lack soul, identity with a limited menu to assimilate this sense of faux luxury. The staff were very nice and accommodating, the food was ok (not great- especially the off tasting cauliflower side dish smelling of medicine) but limited & expensive, and the atmosphere was lacking - barely 11 people (including our party of 3) all night. Maybe because we visited on a cold wet January, but it definitely is missing something. The starters sounded exciting, mains were heavy but not special and the dessert was ok. I’d call it a work in progress, considering the hefty €110 per person price tag. Disclaimer- we enjoyed a couple of good bottles of Lebanese wine …..& we had to coax the waiter for a free and mediocre limoncello each.

This was an absolutely amazing experience! They have a tasting menu (Michelin inspired) but you can also order à la carte items. The staff is amazing and attention to detail was incredible as was the food. Highly recommend this restaurant and suggest calling if you’re interested as their reservation system was inaccurate and we showed up just to see if there were openings and they were so accommodating…
