On my first solo trip to Malta, I was nervous to go to a bar by myself. But the staff were welcoming, the atmosphere was amazing. The food was incredible and the drinks were strong but delicious!! Highly recommend for any solo travellers!
Visited in January (low season). Arrived from our hotel with a reservation for early evening pre-dinner drinks during a happy hour promoted by the hotel. Okay if you're looking for a cocktail bar with a great menu, fabulous setting, awesome music & that encouraged dancing, this is your place. Temperature dropped a bit at night & the staff quickly offered blankets which really impressed us for the service. We were shown straight to a table on the veranda, looking out over St Paul's Bay at night & had a couple of cocktails each which were delicious...
The cocktails and ambiance are definitely the main centre points of this restaurant! The food is decent, I would maybe recommend adding a sauce on top of the patacones as they’re quite dry. Otherwise would definitely recommend this place for a convivial dinner with friends!
We had dinner at Mamacita Latino Bar as a family and overall had a great evening. The food was tasty and full of flavor – we really enjoyed the Latin-inspired dishes.
