About CUBA - Centerparc, Qormi

The latest addition to the CUBA family is situated on the first floor of the Centerparc shopping mall, located in Qormi, the center of the island.

The traditional Caribbean décor and friendly staff will always make you feel warm and welcome when dining at Café Cuba, with fast and efficient service the staff will attend to your every need. Serving Cuban & Mediterranean cuisine with a vast menu covering many Caribbean favorites and offering a wide choice of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.

At Café Cuba Qormi they cook great food and they bake exquisite pizza using only the finest ingredients. They also aim to brew the best coffee in Malta and brew only the finest roasted 100% Arabica coffee beans. Cuba means magical music and dance, cigar-smoking, women and Che Guevara, rum and revolution. Cuba means easy living. Life moves slowly there and people still have time to sing and play and dance in the streets.

Food is good. Service is really below average. Long waiting even for the first round of drink and the waitress messed up the order. We told her and she did not apologise almost giving us the blame for demanding the right drinks. Also, after the meal (which took an hour to arrive) we asked multiple times for the waitress to come to get the order for coffee and they just ignored us for a whole hour. In the end we gave up, paid, and left.

Waiting time at table was a bit long - even until the side dishes arrived. I would take down that toilet sign from there as people continue going by table 22 to find them. And it becomes a bit of a nuisance really.

Although they were very busy, as they were fully booked the service was still good and I admired, I think he was the manager, because he lent a hand to the staff waiting on tables as well as taking care of his own duties. Sorry but I do not know his name, but he wasn't in uniform. Keep up the good work. Well done

The restaurant manager has checked again just now with us and in fact they did indeed have your booking in their diary.
