Smugglers, originally known as The old smugglers, is a casual little spot in Balzan. Offers a casual atmosphere and the perfect place to have a drink with friends!

Several gluten free options available for Coeliacs and clearly labeled which makes ordering a whole lot easier. GF Pasta with mushrooms and bone marrow was to die for! Really tasty. Will be back for sure, especially if you start to offer GF desserts too! (Wasn’t made aware that GF ice cream was available until we left, despite asking the waitress if there were GF options for dessert, who said there weren’t any). Will know for next time!

Always a pleasure to dine here. My only minor criticism is that the rack of lamb was a bit underdone and a bit too charred on the outside. The taste was there and I don't mind rare meat so it didn’t ruin our experience whatsoever. 🙂 Never disappointed me each time I’ve been.
