I had a great experience at Grain Street. The food was excellent — my favorite dish was the “corn-fed chicken”perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The terrace location is lovely, and the service was extremely attentive, with great attention to detail throughout the meal. They also serve a very fresh, super crispy bread that tastes like it’s homemade or freshly baked in-house. The only dish I didn’t enjoy was “Lasagnette fritti “ which didn’t quite work for me compared to the rest of the menu. Everything else I tried was fantastic 😻 Keep in mind that portions are small, so if you have a big appetite, it’s better to order several dishes.

I advise to go for a budget Michelin restaurants in Valetta. The food quality is way better for just a bit of price difference. Grain Street was one of these Michelin restaurants that we really enjoyed. This cosy and neat restaurant is located in a calm side of busy Valetta far from too much noise so you can enjoy your meal. The menu is sharing menu ( or not to share, as you wish) so the portions are small but rich in details and taste. We tried pasta with generous amount of pistachio and lemon juice. Was very different pasta experience with very delicious and rich flavors. Also fish was very good. We did not try any starter or dessert but am sure they would be as good as main course. I definitely recommend here with 5 stars ⭐️👌
