The food and service were decent overall, and we had a pleasant experience. However, there was one issue that left us disappointed. It was our friend’s birthday, and we brought a cake that we had purchased separately because it was her favorite. We were informed that there would be a service fee for serving the cake, which is understandable — but charging €20 felt quite excessive. A service fee is reasonable, but the amount took away from what was otherwise a nice celebration. I believe this is something that could be reconsidered in the future.

Our group of seventeen recently dined at Manta Restaurant in Sliema, and the experience exceeded our expectations on all fronts. From the outset, communication with Monica from Lifestyle Group was smooth, efficient, and greatly appreciated, ensuring all arrangements were handled seamlessly. We enjoyed a three-course set menu, and the food was nothing short of perfect. Each dish was well-prepared, beautifully presented, and consistently praised across our entire group. The restaurant’s location is lovely, offering a pleasant, relaxing setting, and we were pleased to find that the atmosphere was not overcrowded, allowing us to enjoy our afternoon comfortably. The staff were exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. Special thanks go to our waiter Hamza, who provided excellent service throughout the night, as well as to the manager on duty on 7 December 2025, who contributed greatly to the smooth running of our event. Although we unfortunately did not catch his name, his assistance did not go unnoticed. The restaurant was also beautifully decorated for Christmas, adding a warm and festive touch to our experience. The team did their utmost to accommodate our large group, and we truly appreciated their effort and hospitality. Overall, we left greatly satisfied and will certainly be visiting again. Highly recommended for groups and special occasions, as well as anyone looking for quality dining in Sliema.

Absolutely amazing place — beautiful, relaxing, and unforgettable. We’re a couple, and we’ve visited this restaurant several times already: five times for breakfast (9-12 o’clock) , once for takeaway, and once we spent a half day on the sunbeds enjoying the pool. Every single visit was wonderful. The drinks here deserve a special mention — they are unbelievably good. The iced latte and iced matcha latte are honestly the best we’ve ever had in our lives. The food is always delicious as well, and surprisingly affordable. The atmosphere is truly beautiful: great DJ, good music, and stunning views of both the city and the sea. The service is excellent — everyone is kind( especially Hamza😊), welcoming, and attentive. Everything is clean, and the restaurant is already beautifully decorated for the New Year, which makes it feel even more magical. We loved having breakfast here and spending our time relaxing by the pool. The pool itself is very clean, warm, and the vibe with the DJ is perfect. We are extremely happy with this place and highly recommend visiting. It’s truly beautiful.
