€25 brunch & breakfast buffet (per person) with tons of fresh made options ranging from omelets to baked beans/hashbrowns, yogurts and pastries. An amazing deal with a beautiful ambience and view. The kumquat marmalade knocked my socks off

“Eat breakfast like a King …” Located within the Kempinski Hotel, this is where breakfast is served each morning, and during our stay at least, where a barbecue was served one evening. *** Breakfast Without The All Too Common Annoyances *** Breakfast is served buffet style, although certain hot dishes are available to order. Examples include French toast, Eggs Benedict, spring rolls, and my favourite Asian fried rice (how come mine never tastes like there’s?) Pro Tip: order fried rice, add a delicious egg from the buffet to the bowl, and you have nasi goreng right there. The buffet is lavish: cereals, yogurt, fruit, hot dishes, cold cuts, various breads, and pastries. There is also an omelette station, and although I didn’t try one, I did hear the sizzling and smelt the deliciousness. As an aside, there’s a talented pastry chef at work somewhere. Creations are displayed near the hotel’s coffee shop in a display case as well as at breakfast. Good luck staying away from those. As for the annoyances, none of those here. Proper-sized plates and bowls, hooray. We are all kings, queens, or presidents, so take the fruit shot which is handed to you on arrival, be shown to your table, then … enjoy your breakfast the way you like it. *** Barbecue *** During our stay, a barbecue was served one evening, pre-booking essential. It was like being invited to a barbecue by your mate who can cook. Once again, a lavish buffet of starters, accompaniments, and desserts (there’s that pastry chef again). The protein (meat or fish) was served outside. It was delicious, and the preparation seemed effortless, although quite how the pit masters seemed so chilled is beyond me. 4 people for me, and the stress levels are through the roof. Enjoy, whatever the event, I highly recommend.
