We had a wonderful dinner at the Grotto Tavern. Complements to the chef for creating a memorable five course meal. The restaurant is set in the cave which enhanced the experience. Michelin star awarded in 2024 is a guarantee that you will enjoy every bite.
First time to a "fine" dining place and especially a Michelin restaurant. Food was tasty but nothing really over the top in my opinion. To place bread with butter as one course was pretty hillarious, never experienced that before. The staff was incredible and very supportive of my companion Rex who never been to a fine dining restaurant either. He enjoyed his visit.
We had the grotto experience with the wine pairings and everything was perfect! We are foodies and love interesting combos but nothing too out there and this was the perfect mix! We thoroughly enjoyed our Grotto Tavern experience. It had been recommended by a few different people and were so glad we went! The service, food and location are all excellent. Highly recommend. We went for the 7 course taster menu and tried a local red wine. Fantastic!
Absolutely amazing dining experience. We got the 7 course tasting menu and we cannot fault it one bit. We also got the ‘luscious’ non-alcoholic cocktail and it was so good we had to have two.
