About Tmun
Nestled behind a row of colourful fishing boats in the bustling fishing village of Mgarr, Tmun is a family-run restaurant which has been in operation for over 30 years.
The menu is extensive but creative fish dishes take the lead. This is natural given that the freshest fish and seafood lands right on its doorstep. The diners favourites include prawn tartare, the ever-popular fish soup and the crispy panko tempura monkfish. The menu also includes meat dishes such as lamb and pork as well as a variety of vegetarian and vegan options. Desserts made inhouse include contemporary twists on the classics such as the dulce de leche fondant and the blond chocolate and mango pannacotta. The kitchen brigade is run by Paul who has nurtured a love for food from a very young age. His inspiration for the ever-changing menu comes from the seasonal fresh local produce and his culinary travels around the world.
The casual atmosphere with the theater of the chefs always on view coupled with stunning dishes and a broad wine list; an evening at Tmun is a foodie’s delight
