The Ta'Xbiex Waterpolo Club Restaurant was first established in the early 1940's. Prior to its creation, the property was used as a polling station, police headquarters, and even a farm. Pictures dating back in our waterpolo archives detail the clubs waterpolo team as far back as 1945.
One might appreciate the humility of this building as it so unassumingly overlooks what is probably one of the most beautiful harbors in the world. In the background to the right hand side one can see the steeples of the Floriana church, a site that is still evident to this very day.
Today of course the building has been transformed into what we now have come to know as the Ta' Xbiex Waterpolo Club. Despite various renovations throughout the years, the club has always aimed at maintaining its humble roots, by following a minimalistic approach to the decor and allowing the spectacular scenery to hold centre stage.
Visiting this incredible place is a humbling experience, one that showcases everything that is pure, unspoiled, and perfectly Malta. Looking forward to entertaining you.... And of course winning the Waterpolo league!
NB! There are two separate menus. The first menu is served Monday through to Saturday; the other menu is served only on Sundays.
