About Cent'Anni
Located in the quaint northern village of Gharghur, Cent'Anni is an old, traditional wine bar with a history dating back to the end of the 19th Century.The Wine Bar served as a local haunt for the village folk as well as British forces personnel based in and around Gharghur in both world wars and up till the late 70s. Although well in their 80s, local patrons Guzi and Mari kept running the wine bar until 2006. The Wine Bar was eventually given a new lease of life by their nephew and current owner Frankie Micallef.
Although completely refurbished,great care was taken to restore and keep all the original furniture and features, including the tables and benches, wine vitrines, bar counter and pictures, giving the place a unique character reminiscent of a bygone era.
