Booking was done quickly but didn't get the table if requested. I asked one of the guys to let me know when it became available, he didn't. The drink came to the table half empty and the food was very salty/average. It was amazing the first couple of times I went. Disappointed this time round.

The music is a bit too loud, and the service is slow - the waiters were great there just aren’t enough for all the covers. Also we noticed that someone at the bar was smoking indoors.

Another great experience..Anthony and his staff always offer impeccable service, friendly yet always polite. The menu offers something for everyone's tastes and coupled with a well-varied drinks list makes Ayu one of the best restaurants along the Gzira/Sliema seafront

Food was not so special. One of the bao buns was very dry, rigatoni carbonara was a small portion, and chocolate mousse was not a mousse at all it was hard like still frozen. Music was too loud, we had to ask servers to repeat what they were saying as we couldn't understand them. Had high expectations for this place but was overall disappointed.

Beautiful restaurant. Food is ok, nothing special flavor wise. Chimichurri sauce was more like a chilli oil, not even green in color. However, still good value for money due to reasonable prices
