About The Galley Restaurant
Situated on the Ta’Xbiex seafront, in a quiet location just minutes away from the Sliema centre and has easier road side parking. Owner Mr. Matthew De Giorgio has a passion for everything Mediterranean, with a good eye for detail and The Galley reflects this, with its Mediterranean deco, cuisine, modest wine list & a fully stocked bar serving fresh & tasty cocktails from beautiful engraved glasses. Served by smart & attentive waiting staff & bartenders.
The Kitchen & operation of the premises is trusted to Giovanni Mugliett, a renowned chef & restaurateur which directs his team both meticulously & passionately, to achieve a high standard of product & service. Weekly changeable food specials & cocktails give our young team new challenges & this gives also frequent visitors a new surprize to enjoy, every time.
The Galley is made up of 3 different areas, each with its own distinctive characteristic. The indoor Restaurant of the Galley which hosts a fully stocked bar, can seat a max of 45-50 persons with access to a side terrace where around 20 guests can enjoy a smoke while eating.
The cosy and beautiful front garden can host around 40-50 persons with sofa loungers & high tables & also direct bar access. The upper terrace with a beautiful harbor and Valletta views can host around 40 persons seated. The whole areas are wheelchair friendly including also access to the restrooms.
