I really enjoyed the dinner I recently had at Alma. I came in around 8 pm on a Friday night and even though they had a good number of patrons in the restaurant, I was seated immediately. After about 5-10 minutes with the menu, they took my order. I ordered the Calamari Fritti and a bottle of Sparkling Moscato to start. After that I ordered the Salmon Fillet with roasted potatoes and salad. EVERYTHING was delicious! The calamari was lightly breaded, the salad included pickled carrot ribbons, the potatoes were so buttery with just enough caramelized onions. The salmon was perfectly cooked with a creamy sauce that is to die for! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. I would have gotten dessert but I was too full!

We weren’t that hungry so we had only chicken salad and some nigiri…both dishes were very good..the tuna nigiri was very fresh. It seems like they really care to provide good food quality and good service.

The fusion was interesting, we ordered “The Smitten” cocktails for happy hour but I would recommend trying a different one. The starters we ordered were prawns, chicken karaage and the beef carpaccio, the beef was bland but the other dishes were great! We then ordered the sushi platter which comes with a variety of different rolls. We were too full for dessert but had another bottle of wine. The service was very attentive and friendly, the restaurant itself was not very busy on a Wednesday night so conversation was very easy 👍
